Hey it's all about virus!!?

My PC has caught a kind of spyware or virus named w32.myzor.fk@yf which facilates in stealing passwords and destroying system. I am very much worried about it. Can you please please please help me to remove this spyware virus. I searched a lot of websites for downloading free softwares for removing spyware but it could only be freely scanned. Do you know any sites where I can download a free software which functions both in scanning and removing Spyware. HELP PLEASE??

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

What happend to my task bar? It doesnt show my windows!!!?

Right now I have 6 programs minimized yet it still says that i dont have any windows or programs running except language bar and windows media player. What happend. According to Norton im infection free and same with spyware doctor.

Sounds like it's ''hiding''.

To hide the taskbar:

Right-click the Start button, and then click Properties.

On the Taskbar tab, select the Auto-hide the taskbar check box.

To redisplay the taskbar, point to the area of your screen where the taskbar is located.

You can temporarily hide the taskbar by dragging the top edge down. To redisplay the taskbar, drag the visible edge upward.

click the task bar and drag it down to the bottom of the screen.

then, shorten the task bar by click and pulling it down to the bottom.

you could also use keyboard combination alt tab to move between programs

This message pops up when i install/uninstall some (not all) prograns. Programs include Nortons antivirus (the att free version), PC TOOLS spyware doctor (google pack version). These programs ron but wont open. They ate on the task bar and in program files: but not in the ad and remove programs list. Where do I get this file and where do I put it???

Extremely slow computer? Gateway Laptop. Windows XP?

I have a gateway laptop that is probably around 5 or 6 years old. I use an x-drive to put all my music, videos and other large documents on, but the computer is still extremely slow. Is there ways to run a diagnostical check on the processor and see what is slowing it up? Any free programs for erasing spyware or other things which may be slowing it down. As said above CCleaner is the best and its good for getting rid of temporary files. But it is probably a virus or several viruses so scan your computer and think about what you have installed recently could it be a Trojan?

my norton internet security is about to expire, looking for a cheaper sollution i questioned what to do earlier. most answered just upgrade norton or buy something similar. However a few suggested avast antivirus and comodo firewall(both free)along with a spyware prog. I use comodo firewall and its excellent and have now installed the beta version of comodo anti-virus and i find that really good a well...

I also run super antispyware once a week and don't have any problems.....

there's also a free norton that you can download from google if you liked that, its on the google page then, in more then, even more then the google package...
